Shavim - occupational rehabilitation association.
Shavim association (previous name - Eshet) is an association for occupational rehabilitation, which was founded in 1985 for the purpose of creating and managing protected plants for the mentally disabled in Israel in order to address to those who can not be accepted in the free labor market by teaching standard behavioral patterns required in the work place and this is a part of rehabilitation process.
Shavim today is the largest association in this field, with 10 plants around the country and 800 recovering workers. All the plants are situated in industrial zones, and they offer to their clients range of production services and subcontracting at high quality.
